New wells are always coming online and it's difficult to track the performance of these wells. This dashboard allows you to view wells that have come online in the last 5 years by filtering on their 'On Production Date'. Filter further by status, fluid, company, and field. For a quick look analysis at performance, we have provided their cumulative values for oil and gas to date and links to the well on Petro Ninja. It's also interesting to view which recent wells have already been suspended.

Petro Ninja well statuses are licensed statuses, which aren't always accurate. There are 'Active' wells that have not produced in years. This dashboard allows users to filter by the 'Last Month on Production Date', status, fluid type, filed, and company. It also displays the most recent production data and well links to Petro Ninja.

It's possible that a status is incorrect. We recommend looking at the completions table in Petro Ninja to see if there are any bridge plugs or cement.

The Alberta Orphan Well Association is a non-profit organization with a mandate to abandon the wells pipelines, facilities of companies that have entered receivership or bankruptcy. Some of these wells still have economic value or uphole opportunity and can be acquired from the OWA.
